Ausbildung is Germany, Austria and Switzerland's dual vocational training system. You split time between a company (3–4 days/week) and vocational school (1–2 days/week). The company pays your salary from Month 1 and covers all training costs.
A German, Austrian or Swiss employer signs a training contract with you. This contract is your visa basis — it proves you have a job and income before you even arrive.
With your Ausbildung contract, you apply for an Ausbildungsvisum. With the Gulf Fast-Track route (if you're in UAE/Qatar) this takes just 4–8 weeks.
3–4 days at your employer (hospital, hotel, company). 1–2 days at vocational school. Your employer pays you €600–1,200 every month. Tuition is free.
After 2–3 years you receive a recognised German/EU professional qualification. You can then stay on a work visa and apply for permanent residency after 2 years of work.
